'so much enthusiasm and joy'
'amazingly talented'
I've been working as a conductor, musical director, and workshop leader since 2010.
Since then I've been the MD of a production at the Salisbury Playhouse (Parallel), chorus master of Winterbourne Opera (Marriage of Figaro), and MD and conductor of the Farley Chorale and my own choir, the Salisbury Chamber Chorus.
I am available to lead workshop days for choirs (focussing on vocal technique, choral dynamism, projection and performance), as well as take on temporary contracts as chorus master or MD for other theatrical productions.
I founded the Salisbury Chamber Chorus in 2011, seeing a gap for a local choir (in spite of there being seven or so already) that catered to bigger voices, or singers who wanted to sing a theatrical classical repertoire rather than emulate cathedral choirs.
In the last few years, we have sung concerts dedicated to Puccini, Verdi and Wagner, alongside lending our particular style to choral classics like the Fauré Requiem, and performing a few of my pieces, including Space Time Matter Energy with the Beaten Track Ensemble, and The Resurrection with La Folia and some fantastic soloists.
